Translate sort by options to Dutch

Hello guys, 

I am new here to the plugin community. I have a question about the sort by options. 

We saw that is possible to translate the sort by button to Dutch, but we also want to translate the different options to Dutch, for example the newest, oldest and so on. I am wondering if this is even possible?

Yes, but you would need to use a plugin like "Loco Translate". Then you can create a Dutch translation for those terms.
