badge doesnt update to show all tripadvisor reviews
WP reviews pro appears to have downloaded the latest reviews but tripadvisor shows more than 1500 reviews and my total on the development site for this hotel is only 38 (!). I know I've had this issue before…I think Josh resolved it with some patch. I tried to force recalculate but it didnt seem to change the total.

There are a couple of different options for Badge totals. Source Site, Review List, or manually input. The Source Site option will try and use the total on TripAdvisor if it was able to grab it when it downloaded the reviews. The Review List option will only use the number that have been downloaded. If you click the "Badge Data" button on the top of the page you can see what the plugin has for the values.
If that Badge Data "Source Total" doesn't look correct, try downloading the reviews again. It should try and update it when it downloads new reviews. The Review Funnel method is a lot more reliable with this.
Tell me what the TripAdvisor URL is that you are using and I'll test.

I had the correct settings but still not seeing the correct # of reviews in the tripadvisor badge
I do see recent reviews downloaded to the site.

So the Badge Data table looks correct? Try changing the Review Origin to Custom and then click the Select Location button and make sure you have the correct locations selected.
this is already set to this. no the badge data table doesnt show the total number of reviews. I've tried to force recalculate but it's stuck at 40 reviews for some reason.
Looks like the Get Reviews > TripAdvisor method is having trouble grabbing the total from the source page. I'm going to have to update the plugin to fix it. In the meantime, you can always use the Review Funnel tab to download TripAdvisor reviews.
yeah, I had that problem before on my other hotel sites using this plugin and you worked your magic. Really appreciate you great service. I did set up a review funnel for tripadvisor and it does appear to have updated. I set the badge to look for that funnel specifically and the badge is showing a correct total now. I just wanted to avoid additional costs associated with the funnel mode.
This should be fixed in 11.4.3. Let me know if it doesn't work.
