Carousel arrows don't work when reviews are expanded

I have a carousel of reviews, with arrows to click through. When you click "read more" to view a review in full, the arrows no longer work for scrolling to the next selection of reviews. Even after clicking "read less" it still no longer works. 

This has been an ongoing issue for probably around a year now. I've been hoping it would be fixed in more recent updates, but no luck.
