Review Funnels not Working - Scraping problem (Etsy and Amazon)
Hi Josh,
We would like to ask for help regarding the scraping.
Please see the photos below:
Etsy has latest reviews until November 15, but not showing up/being scraped.

We appreciate your help!
Thank you so much.

For etsy it should be the shop url like so: https://www.etsy.com/shop/bjumuk/
What are the urls you are using? I will try them on my end.
Hi Josh!
Our apologies for the late response.
Here is the link for Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/shop/udoggames#reviews
While for Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/uDog-Old-Fashioned-Handmade-Lifetime-8-Player/dp/B07N43R1WL/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8&th=1
We appreciate all your help!
Hi Josh! How are you? I would like to kindly bump this up.
I hope that you had a great weekend!
Amazon sort of worked. It pulled in 8 reviews. Etsy did not. I filed a ticket with the scraping support.
Hi Josh,
I wanted to follow up regarding a few issues we’re seeing with the WP Reviews:
Amazon reviews are not showing up. You mentioned there were 8 new reviews, but they aren’t appearing on the actual page.
Etsy has recent comments on the site, but they are not being pulled into WP Reviews.
The latest manually inputted comment isn’t displaying on the front end.
Could you take a look at these when you have a moment?
Let me know if you need any additional info from me.
Thank you,
Hera
If they are on the Review List but not showing on the front end of the site, then it has to be a Filter on the Filter tab of the review template filtering out the reviews. Post a screenshot of your filters.
Etsy, review funnel is still being worked on.
Hi Josh,
Thank you so much!
Etsy is now working, but Amazon does not.
I will work on the filter tab and send the screenshot here.
Appreciate it!
Best Regards,
Hera
Hi Josh,
This is the filter setting. I ticked the manual_woocommerce and updated, but it is still not showing up.
First photo is the filter setting, then the result,
Let me know if all is good.
Thank you,
Hera
The rate that has been manually inserted is a 5-star rating.
Try unchecking the souce pages you are showing.
Etsy should be working again. You may have to run a new scrape job and choose "Use From Date or Max Number"
Hi Joshua,
I hope you had a great New Year! Belated Merry Christmas as well—hehe.
All is good! We’re very glad that this has progressed well.
The only remaining item to be addressed is Amazon. I’ve tried following your instructions, and I’ll also review my other settings.
Thank you,
Hera
Hi Joshua,
I tried scraping it, and only one new review was inserted into the list.
I saw on the Amazon website that there are new reviews from last December and this January, but only one is showing up.
When I tried doing the scrape again, it just shows that 7 was returned; but not inserted.
New comment that wasn't inserted from Amazon
Thank you so much for your help as this is the only remaining concern.
We truly appreciate your help!
Best Regards,
Hera
I just uploaded Beta version 12.6.4 that has built in Crawl methods for Etsy and Amazon. That should save you some credits. The bad news is that Amazon seems to be hiding those most recent reviews unless you are logged in to the site.
To try the Beta version, just go to the Account page inside the plugin and check the "Join the Beta program" check box. Then the beta version should show up on the Updates page in WordPress. After you install the update. Deactivate and re-activate the plugin. That should force all the database table to update.
Hi Josh,
One Amazon review came in (from 12-28-2025) after I have updated it (not doing the scrape yet).
When I tried to scrape from Amazon, it shows this:
And it did not show any new reviews.
When you mentioned about Amazon hiding the most recent reviews and the need to be logged in—how can we do that on our end?
Thank you so much for all the help and effort; and it has been long since things get busy. We truly appreciate it!
Best Regards,
Hera
Hey Hera,
Unfortunately, there isn't any way for a crawler to log in to Amazon in order to get to that second page of reviews. They are very protective of them. The good news is you can turn on Auto-update and it should slowly add them if they make it to that first page on Amazon.
