RepairPal as Review Source

#36TeJtDq!DtDNvZv1Fp 3 years ago 0

The automotive repair industry tends to rely heavily on the RepairPal service. And of course, customers that are users of RP also tend to leave reviews on the site and I'd love to incorporate those into our clients websites.

Import reviews failed

Alijcar 3 years ago updated by Josh 3 years ago 9

I tried to import from Google, Facebook and Tripadvisor via review funnels.

No reviews have been imported.  I have deactivated and reactivated the plugin, but still the same

What am I doing wrong?

Can I customise input fields in the form section

JM98 3 years ago updated 3 years ago 3

In the submission form editor we have a list of Input fileds arranged in sets.
I would like to add another text section with paragraphs in the "please review us" section which only shows when the logic dictates. Is it possible for us to add another line (like the "before"one but bigger, for text?
Also, is it possible to add a logic function to a "custom Text" Form input field?
Many thanks! Jaap

Navigation dots off center, navigation arrows wrong color

Why are my navigation dots off center?

How do I change the color of my navigation arrows? They appear to match my set theme color, but I would like to override that to make them gray.

Resize text to reduce white space when YouTube videos are included

KatieP 3 years ago updated by Josh 3 years ago 3

I'm using the option to limit the number of characters shown so the reviews all appear nicely at the same height. HOWEVER there's an issue if I also attach a YouTube video to the review - this adds a huge extra bit of white space at the bottom of all the reviews, where the YouTube video goes for those one or two reviews. It would be great if the other reviews would automatically expand their text to fill this white space (see images - first one is what shows by default, second image is with the text expanded to fill the white space (but I don't want to have to click "read more" to show this, yet still want it to restrict the number of characters shown so the height of the reviews are all the same)).

Hi

I'm looking for some help with some custom CSS. We would like the please review us on... whole section to be aligned centre and slightly larger.

And I can't work out how to remove the Submit Review button.

The webpage is https://www.pattersonhallaccountants.co.uk/bishop-auckland-leave-a-review/

Thank you in advance.

Forms Elements get same ids so you cannot place two forms on one page without interferring

andreas lang 3 years ago updated 3 years ago 2

First: your plugin is great - we are glad to have bought the Pro version of it.
But there is one issue:
When you add multiple forms on one page (frontend) the form elements are given identical IDs.
It seems the ids of form elements are numbered position-wise.
In our case this breaks the relation between checkboxes and their label. So a checked box in one form ticks the checkbox in the other form - quite dysfunctional...
We ended up rewriting all ids adding a unique string per form via javascript which is not practical at all.
Our suggestion is to use unique ids for all form elements based on a database index or similar.
